Kayse Budd, MD is an integrative psychiatrist, artist, astrologer, writer, and educator. She previously was on the medical staff at the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA as an integrative psychiatrist and intuitive astrologer. Prior to working for the Chopra Center, Dr. Budd taught for Andrew Weil, M.D.’s Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona for 8 years. Once in San Diego, she taught “Integrative Approaches to Psychiatry” at the UCSD Medical School.

Dr. Budd is a graduate of Duke University and University of Michigan Medical School. She is trained in herbalism, energy medicine, yoga/meditation instruction, sound healing, art therapy, dance therapy, astrology, and shamanic skills. Dr. Budd is a Chopra Certified Perfect Health Instructor and a co-author of the Handbook of Wellness Medicine (Cambridge University Press).

Dr. Budd has an online integrative psychiatry, astrology, Ayurveda, and health coaching practice with an Astrology Apprenticeship and Holistic Health Mentorship for students. Her mission as a healer is to help others embrace their unique gifts and SHINE.
