Upasna is the Vice Chairman CSR for Apollo Hospitals and Managing Director Apollo Life. She is the grand daughter of Dr. Pratap C Reddy who is chairman and co-founder of Apollo Hospital and the wife of leading Indian Actor Ram Charan. She spearheaded the Workplace wellness initiative and also leading charity initiatives such as SACHI (Saving a Child’s Heart Initiative) Foundation; SAHI - for the hearing impaired; CURE - for awareness-building on cervical cancer, for Apollo Hospitals Group which is the third largest private hospital network in India.
