General Subscription Information

  • How much does a Presence App subscription cost?

    An annual subscription to the Presence app costs US$69.99 (only about 19 cents per day!), and automatically renews annually on the anniversary of your subscription date. If you are purchasing outside of the US, this price is subject to your country's exchange rate and taxes, as well as any Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies. Your price will calculate in your local currency at checkout.

  • Do you offer any other types of subscription?

    We currently offer only an annual subscription for full access to the Presence App.

  • Can I purchase a subscription as a gift for a loved one?

    Currently, we are unable to offer gift purchases of the Presence App.

  • What is the difference between a free account and a paid subscription account?

    Our free account offers a limited version of the Presence App experience, while the paid subscription offers complete access to all Presence App content.

  • What content does the free experience offer?

    Our free version offers access to a limited and rotating selection of hundreds of Presence meditations and other content sessions, as well as access to any 21 Day Meditation Experience albums you previously purchased under the same account.

  • What additional content can I access with a paid subscription?

    With a paid subscription, you will have full access to a more expansive and continually growing catalog of meditations and additional content and experiences we offer on the Presence App.

Apple App Store Subscriptions

Apple App Store purchases are managed directly by Apple and are subject in many respects to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Consequently, Presence’s ability to modify Presence App subscriptions purchased by way of the Apple App Store is limited.

  • How do I update my payment information online?

    You must update your payment method via the Apple App Store.

  • Can I pause my subscription?

    This is not an available feature in the Presence App. If you would like to cancel your subscription, you may do so through the Apple App Store, subject to the cancellation restrictions set forth by Apple.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

  • How do I request a refund?

    All refunds are processed exclusively via the Apple App Store. Please reach out to the Apple App Store for any questions regarding refunds.

  • Can I connect my Presence App account with Apple Health?

    Yes, you certainly can. Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Presence App and then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, select “Apple Health”, then select “Enable”. Follow the prompts or select “Show Me How”. You can also manage your permissions via your device’s settings.

Google Play Store Subscriptions

Google Play Store purchases are managed directly by Google and are subject in many respects to the Google Play Terms of Service. Consequently, Presence’s ability to modify Presence App subscriptions purchased by way of the Google Play Store is limited.

  • How do I update my payment information online?

  • How do I update my payment information online?

    Please reach out to our support team at support@presence.app, and we will make the adjustment for you.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

  • Can I pause my subscription?

    This is not an available feature in the Presence App. If you would like to cancel your subscription so it does not automatically renew at the end of your subscription cycle, please contact our support team at support@presence.app prior to your renewal date. If you elect to cancel your subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current subscription term. Please note that we are unable to process cancellations (or refund requests) on or after your subscription renewal date.

    You may receive a full refund for your first annual subscription within 30 days after your charge is processed. After 30 days, your subscription is non-refundable. Subscription renewals are non-refundable. If you have already received a refund for a subscription, any future subscription purchases are also non-refundable. To request a refund, please submit your request via email at support@presence.app.

General Account Information

  • How do I update my account details?

    Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Presence App and then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, you can update your name, email address, and password, as well as a variety of other options. Please note, if you are using the same email address for your Presence App and web.presence.app accounts, updating your account information here will also update it on those accounts as well (and vice versa).

  • Where can I find my subscription information?

    Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Presence App and then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, select “Subscription” where you will see your current subscription status (if applicable), as well as your next subscription renewal date (if applicable) and the subscription type: Apple, Google Play, or Presence Web. If you do not see your subscription information on your Subscription detail page, be sure your app is updated to the most current version available in the Apple or Google Play App Store.

  • Can I connect my account with another login options, such as Facebook, Google, or Apple?

    At this time, you cannot connect your account via any other shared login options.

  • How do I enable/disable Presence App notifications?

    Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Presence App and then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, select “Push Notifications” where you may switch the toggle on or off. You can also manage your permissions via your device’s settings.

  • Can I zoom or increase text size on the app?

    Yes, if you increase your font size in your device settings, that will also reflect in your Presence App display.

  • How much storage will the Presence App take on my device?

    The Presence App package may use up to 89MB of storage. If you choose to download albums for offline listening, storage will fluctuate/increase.

  • How can I unsubscribe from email communications?

    You may unsubscribe from email communications by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the footer of any Presence App email communication you receive. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to our support team at support@presence.app.

  • How do I delete my account?

    To delete your Presence account, please reach out to our support team at support@presence.app. Be aware that by deleting your Chopra account, you are consenting to the deletion of your login credentials and your user account on web.presence.app and the Presence app. As a result, any digital products, courses, meditations, albums, etc. you have previously purchased and maintain access to will also be deleted and cannot be restored should you change your mind at a later date.

Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience Albums

  • What are 21-Day Meditation Experience albums?

    Prior to the introduction of the Presence App, we provided new meditation content by way of the Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience platform including 21-Day Meditation Experience apps for iOS and Android and the website located at choprameditation.com. While we are no longer producing new content for the 21-Day Meditation Experience platform, the aforementioned properties allow(ed) users to purchase 21-Day Meditation Experience albums, including the 21-Day Meditation Experience albums featuring Deepak and Oprah Winfrey. Due to a variety of factors, some of which are out of our direct control, much of the 21-Day Meditation Experience library is not available in the Presence App except to individuals that purchase(d) such content directly.

  • Do I need to pay for a Presence App subscription in order to access my Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience purchases?

    No, any 21-Day Meditation Experience albums you purchase(d) via the 21-Day Meditation Experience platform or on Chopra.com are able to be accessed via your Chopra App free of charge, and can also be accessed via your account at Chopra.com. Note, however, that in order to access your 21-Day Meditation Experience content in the Chopra App, you must use the same Chopra account as is associated with your 21-Day Meditation Experience purchases. To access your previously purchased 21-Day Meditation Experience albums, select “Home” on the bottom left of your Chopra App and then scroll down to the section titled “Purchased Meditations.”

  • Can I buy more Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums via the Presence App?

    We do not sell Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums via the Presence App.

Mind-Body Quiz and "For You" Content

  • Where can I take the Mind-Body quiz?

    Tap “For You” on the bottom of your Presence App. This will bring you to the Mind-Body quiz.

  • How long is the Mind-Body quiz?

    The Mind-Body quiz consists of 10 questions that may take you anywhere from two to five minutes (don’t worry, timing isn’t a factor).

  • If I leave the quiz or close the app before completion, will my progress be saved?

    No, your progress will not be saved, and you will have to restart from the beginning.

  • I have finished the quiz and received my results, but I want to take the quiz again.

    Once you have finished the quiz and received your result you will not be able to take the quiz again. Your results are linked to your profile, and your “For You” content will continue to be updated based on your Mind-Body quiz results.

  • I completed the quiz and got my results. Where do I go next?

    After completing the mind-body quiz, you will be given a summary of your mind-body quiz results. Below this summary is a “Recommended Content” button that will bring you to the “For You” section of the app, where you can access meditations and other content that have been curated for you based on your mind-body type. Although the summary is free for all users, curated dosha-based meditations and other content are available to active Chopra App subscribers only.

  • Am I able to go back and review the summary of my Mind-Body results?

    Yes, at the top of the “For You” section it will show your dosha, and right below that will be a line of text that reads “Read Your Mind-Body Results.” Tapping on this text will bring you to your results.

  • I have finished the quiz and received my results, but I want to take the quiz again.

    To reset your Mind-Body quiz, select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Presence App and then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, select “Your Mind-Body Type”, then select “Reset the Quiz”.

  • Can I access content for other Mind-Body Types?

    No, after getting your results, your “For You” page will remain specific to your Mind-Body type and will reflect evolving content relevant to your Mind-Body type. Since results are linked to your profile, you will not be able to access other content specific to other Mind-Body types.

General Content Questions

  • What do the labels “Single”, “Program”, and “Collection” mean?

    All of the meditations and other content sessions in the Presence App are tagged with one of these three labels that indicate the type of content you are selecting. “Single”: This is a stand-alone meditation or other content session, ready to be enjoyed any time for any reason. “Program”: This is a group of meditations or other content sessions meant (but not required) to be listened to in order, like chapters in a book or an online course. These teachings are sequential and build on the insights of the days before. “Collection”: These are groups of meditations or other content sessions that are all complementary to the category selected, such as “Expand Your Awareness” or “Letting Go.” All of the sessions in these collections will be suited to the applicable topic, but can be enjoyed in any order, depending on which session most resonates with you at any time.

  • Can I download content for offline listening?

    Yes. When viewing a meditation or other content session you would like to download, tap the downward-facing arrow icon above the session title. Once this icon becomes a solid green, the applicable session is downloaded to your device and can be enjoyed without an internet connection. To remove a downloaded session from your device storage, tap the arrow icon again and select “Remove”.
